Cultural: East Montlake Park was deeded to the City with the Montlake Park plat in 1908. The park is located where the Ship Canal meets Lake Washington, and adjoins the northern edge of the Washington Park Arboretum. Nearby Horace McCurdy Park was the site of the Museum of History and Industry from 1952 until 2012. The museum building was demolished in 2015 for SR520 construction.
